Looking for an example of teacher CV

Member

I am a graduated student looking for a job this summer to work in one of the many local schools in my area. I want to get a solid CV to use when applying for positions so I need an example to help guide me along the way so I can ensure I am doing a good job.

Well, this depends on which grade you will be applying to teach. I would say that it is easier to be "less professional" the younger the students. By that I mean allowing you personality to shine more. A good example for teaching younger students would be this one which focuses on your, your personality, and your education in an easy to read format:

^ That is actually a really good example!

The one that I was going to share seems to be dated but this style really brings attention to the page and inclines the viewer to read it which is what you want.

If you want to stand out and are applying to teach younger students, I would go with something more like this:

It is bright, colorful, well put together, and shows you have a big interest in education for young children.

Thanks for both of those examples. I had no idea you can make them that colorful but I guess it would make sense to have something like that for this kind of career. Is there a place I can go to make them like that online?

You can go on this page and customize it. I am not sure if it is free or not but this was one of the top results when looking for what you asked. You can browse a bit more if you need something better.
